Now, let’s take a little scientific look into something I recently read about humans who are actually able to see auras.
Researchers in Spain have found that at least some of the individuals claiming to see the so-called aura of people actually have the neuropsychological phenomenon known as “synesthesia” (specifically, “emotional synesthesia”). This might be a scientific explanation of their alleged ability.ScienceDaily
With synesthetes, the brain regions responsible for the processing of each type of sensory stimuli are intensely interconnected. So, the extra connections, in turn, create more synaptic connections than is normal. As a result, Synesthetes can see or taste a sound, feel a taste, or associate people or letters with a particular color. #fascinating
I have to stop and take that in for a second – how about you? It reminds me of a mind-warping scene from Star Trek. But, this isn’t science fiction, this is science. We have Óscar Iborra, Luis Pastor and Emilio Gómez Milán at the University of Granada Department of Experimental Psychology to thank for these first-time findings. Your Aura Cleansing Ritual
What a lovely fact that our auras form a protective bubble around our bodies. By relaxing and meditating about your chakras you gain greater awareness of the condition of your body or state of mind. It makes dealing with the day to day stresses easier! In short, you gain balance.
Follow these easy steps to cleanse your aura through visualization.
Step One • Get Comfortable
Find a relaxing level of comfort by either sitting or standing. Then, start focusing on your breathing. Continue to focus on it until your breathing is slow and you are relaxing.
Step Two • The Seven Chakras
As you lay relaxing begin to think about the sever chakras. As you think about them, imagine each center shining and pulsing throughout your body. Then, tune into the tingle of energy this creates.
Step Three • Your White Bubble
Now, extend that energy outward from your body. Keep extending it until it shapes a soft glowing white bubble all around you.
Step Four • Strong Protective Quality
Continuing on, be aware of the strong protective quality of your bubble. Be confident in the fact that no unwanted or stale energies will remain inside your bubble.
Step Five • Want Another Color?
Sure! Go ahead and imagine your bubble to be the most soothing color to you. So, what is your favorite color? Use that. Alternatively, depending on your current state, you might try several different colors. Keep experimenting until you find what works best for you.
Step Six • Use Your Bubble Anytime!
After some time and practice, you will be able to call on your bubble anytime you need it. This comes in handy when you’re sitting on a noisy bus, or driving in rush hour traffic. Incredibly, it allows you to take a quick and refreshing break from a stressful event. Now, that’s a technique we can all use!
