What we think about color, especially what we think subconsciously about color, affects us as humans. Humans, in general, are visually-oriented beings.
While it’s true that we have other senses, compared to most animals our noses and ears are inferior. But when it comes to color vision, humans beat out just about every other species on earth.
In fact, a whopping 30% of our brains are used to process visual information! That’s ten times as many neurons as we devote to hearing.
So, it comes to no surprise that colors have a powerful effect on our thinking process. Even though not all colors affect everyone the same way, there are many universal influences in which colors can be used to affect the mood and resulting actions of the person who looks at the color.
